Burglar Arrested
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  “On 14 January, 2014 a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of a residential burglary at an address located on Baker Road just outside of Coquille, Oregon.  Through an investigation a suspect was developed and on 19 January, 2014  Zachary Wilson, 30 years old of Coos Bay was arrested at his residence in Coos Bay and charged for Burglary I and Theft I.  Most all of the missing property which consisted of electronic equipment was located and recovered at the time of his arrest.”

Suspected Burglars
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  “On 01-18-2014 at about 5:22 P.M., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of an interrupted home burglary at 205 Sarah Lane in Lakeside. The son of the homeowner told the 911 operator that he was following the suspects in a vehicle that had been parked near their home, after finding that their home had been burglarized.  An attempt to locate was transmitted over law enforcement radio channels and a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a high risk traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a 1991 Mercury 4 door sedan, in the Hauser area near the intersection Wildwood Drive and US Highway 101.   Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement and the Oregon State Police in the stop and investigation.  In the vehicle police contacted 3 subjects and the subsequent investigation led to the arrest of two of the 3 subjects.   Casey Boyles, age 43 of Reedsport and Arthur Calderon, age 47 of Lakeside were both arrested for multiple counts of Burglary, Theft and Felon in possession of a firearm.  The third subject, Donny R. Mullanix, 35 YOA of Lakeside, who was in the suspect vehicle, was released after the investigation at the scene. The investigation is continuing.”
