Stolen Vehicle
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 03/27/14 at about 1933 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies took a report of a stolen vehicle from 29 year old Lakeside resident, Stephanie Jackson. She reported that someone had stolen her 1983 GMC Pickup. On 03/28/14 near midnight, Coos County Sheriffs Deputies responded to 6th and Broadway in Winchester Bay after Douglas County Deputies located the reported stolen vehicle there. Following an investigation Jayson John Bridges 37 years of age, was ultimately arrested for two counts of Unauthorized Use of a motor vehicle, Theft II, and PCS Methamphetamine. He was transported to Coos County Jail where he was lodged on mentioned charges with a 95000.00 bail.

News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On March 28th, 2014, at about 1147 hours, Coos County Deputies responded to 63671 Clear View Drive in Coos Bay, Oregon for a report of an individual in violation of a restraining order. During the investigation deputies determined that Kenneth J. Hunt, age 46, had violated a restraining order against him, the petitioner of the RO being 46 year old Sabrina Coffman. It was reported and confirmed that Mr. Hunt had also unlawfully entered a vehicle located on the premises and thrown several objects around the yard, causing damage to fixtures and plants. Kenneth J. Hunt was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was lodged without incident. He was charged with Violation of Restraining Order, Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief II and Disorderly Conduct.
Disorderly Conduct
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 30 March, 2014 at about 7:30 PM, A Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a report of a dispute at a residence located on North Fork Lane near Myrtle Point, Oregon. A Myrtle Point Police Officer also responded to assist. During the investigation it was determined that the 911 caller, Linda Lou King, age 54, was responsible for the incident she was reporting when she arrived intoxicated at the property she was staying at. The property owners would not let her come into the home and Ms. King started creating a disturbance and provoking a fight with Ms. Day and her daughter, Debby Clawson. Linda King was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. Additionally she had a detainer placed on her by her probation officer. She was transported to the Coos County Jail and booked. Ms. Kings use of alcohol (BAC 0.13%) and prescription drugs were a contributing factor to her behavior.
