Menacing Camp Host
News release from Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 08-12-14 at about 1735 hours, Sheriff’s Deputies from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office responded to Nesika County Park, near mile post 20 on North Coos River, east of Coos Bay. They were responding to a report of the Camp Host being intoxicated, chasing her husband around the campground and menacing other campers with a stick. As the result of the investigation, Connie Bates age 53 of Coos Bay was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Domestic Menacing, Menacing and DOC II. Connie Bates was transported and lodged at the Coos County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $50.000 bail. No booking photograph available at this time as Ms. Bates has been to assaultive to jail staff to complete the booking process.
