News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On February 3, 2015, at about 2:42 PM Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded for the 3rd time to 2008 N Fir St in Coquille for a report of a female trespassing and possibly stealing mail. The Sheriff’s Deputies contacted Angela Dee Koogler, 60 years old of Coos Bay, inside a shop at that residence. Deputies had been out earlier in the day with Ms. Koogler regarding a similar complaint as had the Coquille Police Department. The property is owned by 85 year old Neil Haga of Coquille. Through this investigation, deputies learned that Ms. Koogler had entered and remained in the horse barn on the property and refused to leave after being told to leave numerous times. Inside the barn deputies found a barrel of horse feed Ms. Koogler had poured water on, rendering it useless. Deputies also located where Ms. Koogler had relieved herself and left used toilet paper in the arena side of the barn. Angela Koogler was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where she was booked and lodged for the above charges.

Assault
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 2/4/15 at about 1030 hours Coos County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a report of disturbance at 63132 Millington Frontage Road, Coos Bay, and Coos County, Oregon. It was reported that a female had threatened to stab her boyfriend with a butter knife. As a result of the investigation, 27 year old Shawn Kellum was arrested for Assault IV domestic. Mr. Kellum was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was released into the Jail Staffs custody. Ms. Mansfield did not need medical treatment at the scene.

Menacing & Harassment
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On February 4, 2015, at about 1221 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 92152 Cape Arago Highway, Space 413 in Coos Bay for a reported dispute. Upon arrival Deputies contacted Shawn Boyer, 44 years old of Coos Bay, who reported her husband, 53 year old, William David Boyer Jr, had placed a pillow over her face and also physically restrained her to a bed. Deputies arrested William Boyer for Menacing and Harassment, both constituting domestic violence. William Boyer was transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and lodged for the above listed charges.
