Burglary
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On May 28, 2015 at about 0955 hours the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen boat and a break-in to a cabin on North Tenmile Lake, Lakeside, Oregon. Sheriff’s Deputies from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office marine Division responded and began an investigation. As a result of the investigation Adam Eckes, 23 YOA of Coos Bay was arrested at another cabin on the lake this same day. He was charged with Burglary 1, UUV, and Felon in possession of a firearm. He was transported to the Coos county jail where he was lodged.
Theft Arrest
News rlease from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On May 31, 2015, at about 1002 hours Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 63411 Mobilane Road in response to a report of a theft which occurred there. The perpetrator of the theft was identified by the victims as 42 year old Garnett Stewart-Gebhardt. Upon arrival, and through the course of the investigaton, the deputy learned the suspect had previously been trespassed from the residence. It was further learned the suspect had gone into the residence, unlawfully took a cell phone and left. The phone was later recovered by a neighbor. Later in the afternoon it was learned that the suspect was traveling in Coos Bay in a Taxi. Ms. Stewart-Gebhardt was located and arrested with the assistance of Coos Bay Police Department for Burglary I and Theft II.
