Disturbance
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  “On 03/04/2014 at about 0901 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy’s responded to 97433 Kadora Lane for a report of a disturbance.  Barry Grant was reporting that his daughter, Brandie was under the influence of drugs and creating a disturbance.  As a result of the contact at the residence Brandie Grant was arrested for two outstanding arrest warrants from Coos and Douglas Counties for Failure to Appear and PCS-Meth.  Brandie Grant was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked and lodged.  She is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.”

Assault
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  “On 03/04/2014 at about 1613 hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received several calls about a disturbance at 64222 Braley Road, in Coos Bay, OR.  Deputies responded and upon arriving contacted the victim, 32 year old Amber Albers of Coos Bay.  Ms. Albers reported that she had been assaulted by her estranged boyfriend, 25 year old Patrick Dorsey.  She reported that she had a valid restraining order against Mr. Dorsey and that he has been at her residence over the last few days assaulting her.  Ms. Albers refused medical and was transported to Bay Area Hospital in private vehicle.  Mr. Dorsey was still at the residence when deputies arrived and as a result of the investigation, Patrick M. Dorsey was arrested for and charged with the following crimes; Violation of Restraining Order (two counts), Assault III Domestic, Assault IV Domestic, Attempted Assault IV Domestic, Menacing, Harassment, Coercion, Burglary I (two counts), Burglary II (two counts), Unlawful Use of a Weapon (two counts) Probation Violation and Criminal Mischief II.  Patrick Dorsey was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and lodged.  Mr. Dorsey is being held in lieu of $247,000 bail.”

Disorderly Conduct
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  “On 04 March, 2014 at about 1:50 AM, a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a report of a disturbance located at the Sea Port RV Park in Charleston, Oregon.  When the Deputy arrived he could hear a loud argument in space number six.  There he spoke with Joy Smith who was intoxicated and very angry.  She agreed to leave and return to her trailer for the night.  Before the Deputy could leave Ms. Smith, age 36, of Charleston had walked back outside and continued yelling.  After refusing to return inside two more times she was arrested for Disorderly Conduct II and was transported to the Coos County Jail.  It was later learned she was under the influence of alcohol having a blood alcohol content of 0.12 % and Ms. Smith admitted to using marijuana.”
