Domestic Disturbance
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On October 24, 2014 at about 2354 hours Coos County Sheriffs Deputies and Bandon Police responded to 55711 Tom Smith Road, Bandon for a report of domestic disturbance at the residence. Upon arriving Deputies contacted 23 year old Jordon Siemer, 22 year old Purisha Taylor and 39 year old Eric Hull. As a result of the investigation Jordan Siemer was arrested for Domestic Menacing and Resisting Arrest. Mr. Siemer was transported to the Coos County Jail and booked without incident.

Burglary Suspect
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 10/26/2014 at 7:55 AM a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded a residence on Seven Devils Road, Bandon to a report of a theft of a motor vehicle. Investigation indicated Ian Geer, 23 years old of Myrtle Point had been released from the Coos County Jail on unrelated charges and went to the home of his grandmother, Barbara Geer who lives on Seven Devils Road. There he entered the house while the occupants slept and stole the keys for two vehicles, some tobacco and a pair of new work boots. He left his wet boots behind inside the house. He then stole one of the vehicles, a Nissan pickup truck from the driveway. In the afternoon on 10/26/2014 Ian Geer was found in Myrtle Point by a Myrtle Point Police Officer. When the Sheriff’s Deputy arrived Ian Geer was wearing the stolen boots from the residence. The stolen vehicle was found three blocks away a short time later. The vehicle, although damaged, was returned to the owners. Ian Geer was arrested and lodged at the Coos County Jail. He was charged with Burglary I, Theft II, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Criminal Mischief.
