The Coos County Master Gardeners are busy gearing up for the Coos County Fair, set for July 24th through 28th in Myrtle Point. The Master Gardener booth will be located inside the Clarno Building upstairs near the Land Products displays this year! With the theme of “Cowboys, Rides and Apple Pies”, the booth this year will focus on ways to improve your gardens and information on apples that grow well in Coos County. Informative banners as well as helpful gardening publications will be on hand in our booth. Throughout the week the booth will be staffed by Master Gardener volunteers, ready to help you with your gardening questions. The booth will open at 10 each morning, and close at 7 p.m. The public is invited to stop by and chat, ask questions, or even bring in plant samples to help determine insect or disease issues. Look for the Coos County Master Gardener booth in our new location this year, inside the Clarno Building.
