Coos County Risk Metrics, Jan. 27

Coos Health & Wellness is working hard to keep you informed on the status of COVID-19 guidelines in Coos County. We will continue to provide updates as these situations change. Based on Monday, January 25th metrics released from Oregon Health Authority, Coos County will be continuing in Extreme Risk Guidelines. These levels will be effective from January 29th, 2021 to February 11th, 2021. The next opportunity for Coos County to change risk categories will be on February 12th and will be based on the Risk Category determined by Oregon Health Authority on February 8th. Extreme Risk Guidelines have experienced some changes: Current Revisions effective 1/29/2021.  Restaurants/Bars/Tasting Rooms/Distilleries: Currently, Outdoor dining only, 50 person max; Tents with one side and a roof. Revision, Outdoor dining only, 50 person max; Modification to non-adjacent two sided tents; Allowance of individual enclosed dining pods; Allowance for lottery terminals indoors, max 6 people with distancing. Indoor Entertainment (includes aquariums, indoor theaters/movies/arenas/concert halls, indoor gardens, indoor weddings, indoor museums, indoor entertainment activities of any kind: Currently, Prohibited. Revision: For establishments 500 sq. ft. or larger: Customer capacity: Maximum six (6) people total (not including employees); limit one (1) household per party; required minimum 500 sq. ft. per party. Employee capacity: Limit to the minimum number of employees needed to operate a space for up to six (6) customers. Indoor Recreation and Fitness Establishments (includes gyms, indoor K-12 Sports, indoor collegiate sports, fitness organizations, indoor recreational sports, indoor pools): Currently, Prohibited. Revision: For establishments smaller than 500 sq. ft: Customer capacity: Maximum one (1) person total; Employee capacity: Maximum one (1) employee total. Indoor on-site consumption of food and drink is prohibited.
