City of Coos Bay release – There will be a one lane road closure on the Coos River Hwy from Wednesday, April 17th through Thursday, April 18th from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. east of 12th Avenue. One traffic lane will be open for access through the construction zone controlled by a flagger. Motorists are asked to slow down, and please use caution when driving through construction zone. The purpose of the one lane closure is to rebuild the road base, and asphalt Coos River Hwy slide area.
