Assault at the Boat Basin
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 11/30/13 at approximately 3:00 P.M. a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the Boat Basin to a report of a disturbance occurring in a vehicle. After an investigation Officers located the disturbance at Davey Jones Locker occurring in a vehicle in the parking lot. Deputies contacted a male and female and as a result, Travis D. Elias 36 YOA of Coos Bay was arrested on the charges of Assault IV (D) and Harassment stemming from the incident. Mr. Elias was transported to the Coos County Jail where he is being held on bail on the charge of Harassment and Assault IV (Dom). Crystal Leigh, 32 YOA, Coos Bay, the female that was contacted had some minor injuries but refused medical.”
Crown Point Assault
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On November 30, 2013, at about 2042 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 63108 Crown Point Road, Coos Bay in response to a report of a dispute occurring there. When the deputies arrived they met with Jon Peters and Corrine Sundin who reside at the residence. As a result of the investigation it was learned that the day before, on November 29, 2013 an argument had occurred between the two and yesterday Ms. Sundin had been assaulted, receiving a split lip in the assault, the argument was continuing today and that is why the police were called. Jon Peters was arrested for Assault IV Domestic and transported to the Coos County Jail.”
Wildwood Warrant Service
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. “On 12-01-13 at about 1215 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted by Douglas County Deputies had contact with a 1992 Ford Bronco on Wildwood Road in Hauser. As the result of the contact it was found that all three subjects in the vehicle had outstanding arrest warrants. Trevor Welch, 38 YOA of North Bend was arrested on a State wide Felony Parole Warrant, Kimberly Pitcher age 29 of North Bend was arrested on a Probation Warrant and a warrant for FTA out of Douglas County and Linda Kanally age 30 of Coos Bay was arrested on a warrant for Possession of Dangerous drugs out of the Coos Bay Police Department. All three subjects were transported to the Coos County Jail where they were booked and lodged. Ms. Kanally is being held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail. The other two had no bail warrants.”
Domestic Assault on Jade
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. ” On 11/27/2013 at 7:13 pm, Diana Flores called 911 to report her boyfriend had assaulted her at her residence on Jade Street, Barview. It was reported that the suspect, Tyler Camacho had assaulted Ms. Flores, and then left the area in an unknown type vehicle. At 7:56 pm, Tylor Camacho was located at his residence at 675 Webster in Coos Bay he was arrested without incident at taken to the Coos County Jail on the charge of Domestic Assault IV.”
