It is time again for the Coquille Community Garden Plant and Yard Sale. The sale will be on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the garden. Customers will find locally-grown vegetables and plants at very reasonable prices. There will also be an assortment of donated goods. This sale is the biggest fundraiser for the garden. All proceeds will help to add a foot to the sides of the raised garden beds so every bed in the garden will be at an accessible height. There are also several beds still available to rent. For $20.00 you can grown a large variety of vegetables for the entire season. The garden also offers free seeds and fertilizer for every garden renter. Applications are available online at www.coquillecommunitygarden.org, at the Sentinel Newspaper office or in the garden shed. The garden is located on Baxter just down from the Safeway Market, in between 1st and 2nd streets in Coquille.
