2013 Coquille’s Holiday Tour of Homes
Visit Coquille and Tour Five Special Coquille Homes Fully Decorated for the Holidays, Saturday, December 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check out the Open House @ the Art Center and @ the Old City Hall, the Special Display @ the Episcopal Church and the Eagles Craft Bazaar @ the Community Bldg. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce office, 119 N Birch Street, Coquille Community Building, The Downtown/Uptown Emporium and the Art Center. The Tour of Homes is presented by the Coquille Chamber. Tickets will be available on the day of the tour at the Chamber of Commerce office or at the Art Center. $10 ea. Coquille Valley Art Center Open House
The Coquille Valley Art Center will hold a Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Art Center member artists from all disciplines will be presenting their works for sale. The Art Center departments represent painting, pottery, fiber arts, stained glass, and woodcarving. If you haven’t visited the Art Center in Coquille, please come by. The building is a historic schoolhouse divided into areas for each discipline including a complete pottery studio and woodworking studio. There will be wonderful Christmas and Holiday gifts available for purchase. For example, you will find one-of-a-kind, handmade pottery, jewelry, photographs, quilts, fiber art, dolls and paintings. Ask about gift certificates including gift certificates for Art Center membership. There will be a fundraising raffle for gifts that represent each of the arts and crafts departments and delicious refreshments for our guests. The Center hosts classes and workshops in all disciplines taught by local and national artists throughout the year.
