He’d only been on the job for a little over a year, but the Coquille City Council ended their relationship with City Manager Sam Baugh last week by firing the administrator. The dismissal followed an executive session by the Council which also named Police Chief Scott Sanders as interim City Manager until a permanent replacement can be hired. According to reports, the firing was due to concerns with the City’s finances. The City’s Finance Director was also recently removed by the Council.
