According to an entry on the Coquille Police log for Tuesday, Aug. 4, 4:07 p.m., Hwy. 42 & Rink Ck., “traffic stop resulting in arrest,” 57-year old Joseph Monroe Simonson charged with Interfere with Police, Elude on Foot & Resisting Arrest. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
