A seven-year old Coquille boy remains in critical condition at a trauma hospital and burn center in Portland. Caden Teddleton suffered burns during an early morning fire June 24 at the Rivers Edge RV Park in Coquille. His cousins, 13-year old Christopher Thorp and eight year old Grayson Thorpe, both of Roseburg, died in the fire from smoke inhalation. The three’s grandmother, 59-year old Virginia Jennings, escaped the fire and was treated and released that morning from Coquille Valley Hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials believe it was not intentionally set.
