LCSO release – Monday, July 19, at approximately 5:25pm deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to Lakeside Park at the Cottage Grove Reservoir regarding an accident on the water. Deputies learned that 58 year old Albert Johnson of Creswell was jet skiing when he possibly suffered an emergency medical issue. After parking and departing the jet ski, Johnson complained that he could not breathe then suddenly fell underwater. Johnson was pulled to the shore and given life-saving measures including CPR. Medics were unable to revive him and he was pronounced deceased.
