County Advisory Group to State Forestry, Dec. 15

The Forest Trust Lands Advisory Committee will meet Friday, Dec. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Oregon Department of Forestry Salem headquarters, Tillamook Room, Building C, 2600 State St. Items on the committee’s agenda include comments from State Forester Peter Daugherty and Board Chair Tom Imeson, as well as the following topics. * Board of Forestry Work Plan; * Forest Management Plan project; * Division updates; Return on asset value; Trask Paired Watershed Study; Recreation Access Pass for disabled veterans. Committee members will also formulate the committee’s testimony for the upcoming Board of Forestry meeting on Jan. 3, 2018. Members of the public may attend the meeting and an opportunity for public comment is scheduled. The Forest Trust Lands Advisory Committee is comprised of seven county commissioners representing 15 Oregon counties where state forestlands are located. The FTLAC is a statutorily established committee that advises the Board of Forestry on matters related to forestland managed by ODF.
