Eight students and four staff members at Madison Elementary School in the Empire District are under home quarantine after another positive case of COVID-19 was detected. Principal Eli Ashton says he got the word from Coos Heath & Wellness Sunday night, Oct. 25 regarding a “cohort COVID exposure.” It is the second one at the elementary school this Fall. Those earlier students had already returned to class at the K-3 facility.
