Officials at Coos Health & Wellness are reporting Coos County’s first COVID-19 related death. According to a release from CHW, the 58-year old female died Thursday, Oct. 22, four days after testing positive for COVID-19. She reportedly had underlying conditions and died at her residence. “This is a sobering reminder that this virus is in our community and can have a serious impact especially for seniors and those with underlying conditions,” wrote CHW Assistant Director Eric Gleason.
