COVID-19 hospitalizations, Dec. 9

The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon decreased to 553, 12 fewer than Monday. There are 127 COVID-19 patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, seven more than Monday. The total number of patients in hospital beds may fluctuate between report times. Numbers do not reflect admissions per day nor the length of hospital stay. Staffing limitations are not captured in this data and may further limit bed capacity. The woman is not dead and the number of COVID-19 deaths in Oregon have been adjusted to accommodate this error.
