Authorities in Curry County are still trying to sort out what led to the shooting of two males March 30th at a campground near Agness. According to reports, Austin Williams, Gold Beach, and Taylor Bright, Grants Pass, both 20-years of age, were at the Oak Flat Campground when 22-year old Glen Remy, Gold Beach, shot them. Remy left the campground but crashed his vehicle west of Agness. Williams and Bright made it to a hospital in Gold Beach for treatment of non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Deputies located Remy and took him into custody under charges of Assault II, Assault III, two-counts of Assault IV, two-counts of Reckless Endangering Another Person, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was lodged in the county jail at Gold Beach.
