The Curry Health Network, which operates Curry General Hospital in Gold Beach, Curry Medical Center in Brookings, and Curry Family Medical in Port Orford, is reportedly struggling financially, and their Chief Financial Officer was arrested Sunday, Dec. 20 on an allegation that he vandalized the Network’s Chief Executive Officer’s home on Friday, Dec. 18. Ken Landau, who was already on Administrative Leave from the Network, was booked into the Curry Co. Jail at Gold Beach on charges of Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespass, and released. Landau was reportedly identified from a photo taken at the scene of the vandalism. CEO Ginny Razo reported vandalism to police previously. Back in November, water was put in the fuel tank of her car, that was followed by a slashing of her tires and wires pulled from under the dashboard. Water was also put in the gas tank of her husband’s vehicle. The Network has struggled financially recently and had to layoff 18 to 20 employees. Landau was placed on leave after the Network failed to make payroll in November. Razo has since brought in an interim Finance Officer.
