On March 10, 2017 at approximately 9:30PM, OSP Troopers responded to a report of a deceased male next to Interstate 5 near Milepost 27 southbound, bordering the city of Medford in Jackson County. When Troopers arrived on scene they located an adult male, identified as Cody James HALL, 56 years of age believed to be from the Oregon/California area, deceased. HALL was found on the shoulder next to the jersey barrier. The actual cause and manner of death is still under investigation, but there is no indication of foul play. The Oregon State Police Criminal Division is conducting the follow-up investigation. No further information is available at this time.
