Join us for the Estuary Explorers-Families in the Field Saturday, December 19th from 9:30am-12:30 pm. We encourage parents and children to participate together in this special Estuary Explorers event. Learn about amphibians and go on a hike to look for them. Designed for children 6 years of age and older. A snack will be provided. Dress to be outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch for after the program. The Interpretive Center will be closed December 25-28th and will re-open December 29th following the Christmas holiday weekend. Trails and waterways will remain open from dawn until dusk. On Tuesday, December 29th from 1:00-2:00 pm view the “Gray Whale Obstacle Course” nature film. Follow the journey of the gray whale from Baja to Alaska, including the Oregon Coast.
