Friday, May 15th, 2015 is National Police Officer Memorial Day; the Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be having a short memorial dedication ceremony for Deputy Gil Datan, who died in the line of duty April 20th, 2015 and whose name has been placed on the memorial. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15th, 2015 at the memorial in front of the Coos County Sheriff’s Office at the Courthouse in Coquille. All are invited to attend.
