This THURSDAY and FRIDAY, Nov. 1 & 2, the JORDAN SCHNITZER MUSEUM of ART, on the campus of the University of Oregon, in conjunction with OAK HILL SCHOOL, will host the 37th annual DIA DE LOS MUERTOS celebration. The long-running experiential art and cultural event features poetry readings, live music by Purhembe from Michoacan, dancing by identidad y Folclor, cermaics by Ernesto Guevara, an exhibition of prints by artists from Foro Inundacion, Plumbago Workshop Galeria y Taller de Grabado, as well as traditional Mexican altars and ofrendas. The event will be held THURSDAY and FRIDAY, November 1 and 2nd, at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Admission is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and FREE.
