Diabetes Reversed at NBPL, April 14

On April 14, North Bend Public Library will begin hosting a series of webinars with Stephanie Polizzi of the Oregon State University Extension Service. The first presentation, “Diabetes Reversed,” will demonstrate how simple foods can reverse Type 2 diabetes to a non-diabetic status. The webinar will be a Zoom presentation with the link available at the library’s website and Facebook page, and is expected to last 1 hour. Participants may ask questions and receive real-time answers. After the initial presentation, the recording will be available at the library website. The link for Tuesday’s program is available on the library’s webpage and Facebook page. The rest of the series will premiere live at noon on the first Tuesday of the month. The future programs scheduled are: Food as Medicine (May 5) How foods can prevent & reverse many of today’s chronic diseases. The Fire Within (June 2) Putting out the fire of inflammation with food choices. Plant Power (July 7) How eating plant foods can prevent or reverse most of today’s chronic diseases. Intermittent Fasting (August 4) Health Benefits of Intermittent Fasting Different types of fasting & potential health benefits. Smoking is the New Sitting (September 1) How long periods of sitting contribute to chronic diseases.
