CBPL release – Roar in the new year with a dinosaur exhibit at the Coos Bay Public Library! December 19-January 13, the Library will host a travelling exhibit on loan from the University of Oregon’s Museum of Natural and Cultural History, Oregon’s Dino-Story. Join us for this dino-mite adventure and explore the clues that fossils reveal about Oregon during the Age of Dinosaurs. The exhibit will be on display in the children’s section of the library and feature hands-on activities in Spanish and English. While the exhibit is on display, the Library will host a series of dino-riffic activities including creating Paper-Circuit Dinosaurs (December 20), a Dino Dance Party (December 21) and a program led by OMSI educators (January 9). Information about upcoming programs can be found at the Library’s website at www.coosbaylibrary.org or by calling the Library at (541) 269-1101 x 236.
