A downed tree and power lines on Hwy. 101 north of the Bay Area forced a detour early Monday morning for traffic on the Coastal route. According to ODOT, Hwy. 101 was closed one-mile north of the McCullough Bridge at milepost 234.5. The highway was closed for just a little over an hour.
