NWAC release – Longtime NWAC Executive Board Member and Southwestern Oregon Community College President Dr. Patty Scott was recognized in a November award reception held by the Oregon Community College Association. Dr. Scott was one of four award recipients to be honored. Outstanding Community College Administrator Patty Scott, president, Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC), for her exemplary leadership at both the local and state levels and for her passion for community colleges. She is currently one of the longest-serving community college presidents in the state. During her tenure, she has improved student persistence, graduation, and transfer rates at SWOCC.
