Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers continuing the investigation into April 6, fatal traffic crash on Highway 20 near Eddyville have arrested an involved driver. According to OSP Lieutenant Justin McGladrey, On April 7, 2015, at approximately 1:30 PM, IVAN SANDRIA CRUZ was taken into custody after being released from Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. SANDRIA CRUZ was lodged in the Lincoln County Jail on charges of Manslaughter in the Second Degree, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Reckless Driving and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. OSP troopers from the Newport Patrol office are continuing the investigation which will be forwarded to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of additional charges.
