Bay Area Hospital, North Bend Medical Center together with Western Oregon Advanced Health, DEA, SCINT and local law enforcement agencies is holding its Annual DRUG TAKE-BACK PROGRAM this Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coos Bay Fire Station. The public can drop off expired, unwanted, or unused prescription or over-the-counter medications for safe disposal. The drop off is unable to accept IV solutions, injectables, or needles. By disposing of drugs this way, it keeps these out of the water supply and landfills.
