UO release – EUGENE, Ore. – In recognition of its collective efforts in the classroom, the Oregon volleyball team has earned USMC/AVCA Team Academic accolades for the 2020-21 season. The Ducks posted a 3.37 team grade-point average (GPA) for the year. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale). The Ducks finished the 2021 spring season with a 15-5 record while earning the No. 10 national seed and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Individually, Brooke Nuneviller was selected to the AVCA All-America Second Team after averaging 3.46 kills per set and 4.04 digs per set. Oregon recently announced its 2021 schedule for the upcoming fall, a 30-match slate that begins August 27 against Portland State and Santa Clara at Matthew Knight Arena.
