On August 22 the Oregon women’s basketball team left Eugene on a 12-day foreign trip, playing five games while traveling to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Madrid. The Ducks will visit Amsterdam first, visiting the Anne Frank House and Nike European Headquarters before playing their first game of the trip against Bemmel, a Dutch league professional team, on August 25. The next stop for the Ducks will be Barcelona. The squad will settle in before playing a doubleheader on August 27 against Joventut Les Corts and Picken Claret. Oregon will play again the next day, facing BC Solerien. On an off day in Barcelona, the Oregon men’s and women’s teams will cross paths on their respective tours and visit Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia. After a day off, the team will leave for Madrid and then play fifth and final game of the tour against CREF Hola Madrid, a Spanish first division professional team. Oregon returns to Eugene on September 2.
