News release City of Coos Bay. A contractor for the City of Coos Bay plans to take advantage of a forecasted break in rain tomorrow, November 17, 2017, to repair potholes and make street repairs at various locations in the Eastside area. The work will include paving portions of Coos River Highway and Ross Inlet Road. There will be traffic control work zones set up that may create temporary inconvenience for drivers.
