Eastside School Construction Update, Aug. 28

The new Eastside School is getting ready to go vertical!  Next Friday, September 6, 2019 will be the final slab pour for the new gym at Eastside School.  This is going to be another long concrete day, but we have been assured that it will not start until 7:00AM.  Due to its size, it will take a good portion of the day to complete, so don’t be surprised if they’re still working on it late into the afternoon. Once that last pour is done, the construction team will be putting the finishing touches on the site work that’s already been done and you will soon see structural steel going up as the project goes vertical. If you live in Eastside, please spread the word to your neighbors, and maybe stop and take a peek as the structural steel work begins.
