Coos Bay School District will be hosting a farewell tour of Eastside Elementary School prior to the building site being prepared for the new construction. Visitors have the opportunity to tour former classrooms & gym, view photo albums of former students and leave notes of your favorite memory. Please join us on May 15th from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The entrance to the tour will be at the south-east end of the building. There is also going to be a Lot Sale (similar to Storage Wars on TV) followed by a Garage Sale at Eastside School. The dates and times for those will be announced. After these activities are completed, the building will be prepared for abatement and demolition, then new construction will begin. Our project management team, Chris and Nancy Giggy from Integrity Management Solutions, will be present at the tour.
