Coos Elderly Services, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is opening its doors to all individuals interested in learning about techniques for successful, stress-free daily money management. The first session of the Bill Management Workshop will take place this Wednesday, July 22, 10-11 am at Coos Elderly Services at 390 S. 2nd Street in Coos Bay. It will cover a variety of subjects including Creating and Maintaining budgets, Document management, The Scam of the Month Alert and others. The workshop is designed for people of all ages and income levels, and is free of charge. Those who struggle to manage their personal finances are at risk for impoverishment, homelessness, institutionalization, and guardianship. Get assistance, keep independence!
