CCSO release, Friday, Oct. 5, 4 p.m. Operations are winding down for day four of the search and rescue operation for Richard “Doc” Ellerby. We had local search and rescue members and volunteers from Curry County Search and Rescue working through the day in the wet Oregon Coast Weather. There are no new updates at this time. The search will continue tomorrow (Saturday) with help from surrounding partner agencies, and local resources. We are not requesting noncertified volunteers at this time as we many certified volunteers coming to help. As we enter day 5 we will continue to update on our progress. We are extremely grateful for all the support we have received during the search and will continue tomorrow (Saturday).
