CBPD release – On February 6, 2020 the Coos Bay Police Department began an investigation of a stabbing that occurred in the Empire Area of Coos Bay. Since that time, the Coos Bay Police Department, has provided the public with a couple press releases updating information of the case, as well as, requesting assistance in the locating of all parties involved. As of today, The Coos Bay Police Department has made contact with all parties directly involved in the incident and no suspect remains at large. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and no arrests have been made. The investigation, once complete, will be forwarded over to the District Attorney’s Office for their review.
