Good Monday morning. Beautiful weather continues on the South Oregon Coast with some morning clouds, otherwise sunny with highs in the low 70s. Breezy winds continue in the afternoon out of the North at 10-15 mph, shifting to the West this evening at 5-10 and lows again in the 50s. More of the same on Tuesday. In our news today, A large tractor on top of a chip pile by Hwy. 101 in North Bend had a problem, luckily no one was injured, scary however. Razor clam closure extended on South Coast. Lots of paving underway on city streets in the Empire District and other locations. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and watch for flaggers. Coos Bay also has some sewer construction work underway. Another quake Friday morning off the South Coast on the outer fault line. Coos Co. Commissioners have a work session on tourism in Charleston at Coquille today. Coos Co. Fair Board meets tonight in Coquille. Preliminary numbers look good for this year’s Fair!
