Good Wednesday morning.  Weather forecasters are calling for a change today along the South Oregon Coast.  “Heavy” rain showers with highs in the upper 60s and overnight lows in the mid 50s. Winds out of the South to Southwest at 5-10 mph.  Showers tonight.  Winds shift to the North at 5-10 mph. If it happens, we could use the rain to help those brown lawns, dry underbrush, dust in the air, etc.   Jobs fell in Coos Co. during the month of July, but went up in Curry Co.  We have a full report from the Employment Dept.  It is a Farmer’s Market Day in downtown Coos Bay.  Drop-In Computer Lab at CBPL.  Reading Wednesday at NBPL. North Bend School Board has a special meeting tonight.  Time to sign up for the upcoming Tomato & Salsa Workshop. Want to hear about their experience Studying Abroad?  SWOCC students to share next Monday.  City of Coos Bay has a lane and road closure warning. Accident on Hwy. 42 Tuesday.  Health advisory issued for D River on Central Coast.  It is a short river!  USCG has an exercise today in Washington’s Hood Canal.  I-5 paving halted for State Fair.  Guilty of killing an endangered species.
