City of Coos Bay says some traffic patterns will change in Eastside for the beginning of school, parents best find out before heading over their next week. Oh, yes, weather. Hot today! If the forecast holds up, plenty of Sunshine with highs in the upper 70s and winds out of the North at 5-10 mph. That’s a formula for a rare day on the Oregon Coast. Mostly clear tonight with lows in the mid to upper 50s. Lots of meetings on the agenda for this Tuesday. Both North Bend and Coos Bay city councils have sessions. Coos Bay jumps into a meeting regarding Jordan Cove and Jordan Cove supporters are gathering in advance to show their support. Jordan Cove also on the agenda for North Bend tonight. And, the NB URA has a meeting, looking at engineered wood playground equipment. Coos Co. Commissioners meet this morning in Coquille. The NB Housing Authority meets today. Governor’s Task Force on the Outdoors meets indoors today in Baker City. CCSO reports a couple of domestic disturbance arrests. NBPD has to tell a couple to quit doing what they are doing in a park bathroom. Summertime & transients, just a great experience! In sports, get your signups in for this year’s Prefontaine Run.
