Good Thursday morning.  First of all, I apologize for yesterday’s emails.  I was hacked!  Plain and simple.  I found out about it yesterday morning when I started receiving text messages, emails, and phone calls.  I am sorry if you were hit by one of the emails with my name on it asking for money.  Of course, I would never do that.  We changed all of the passwords and trying to recover.  Still might be some lingering emails however.  It really impacted my mailing list and my contacts for news. I will have to rebuild all of that.  I hope this never happens to you.  In our news today, BLM says public use restrictions decrease on South Coast.  Rocky Mtn. Elk Foundation and Solid Waste Hauling before the Coos Co. Commissioners in Coquille today.  Volunteer church service project coming up Saturday in Coos Bay.  ODFW Commission in Gold Beach today and Friday and they have a large, long agenda including whale entanglements and the crab fishery. Health advisories issued for two Central Coasts beaches. Cultural Trust Fund has money, and a couple of South Coast projects made the list.  Wrap up to the Oregon Coast Caucus Summit recently held in Florence. ODOT’s new director.  NW Natural testing natural gas trucks. OSSA wants Legislature to step up and finance community corrections.  Mysterious powder shows up at correctional facility. Fugitive arrested in Douglas Co.  Attempt to Elude, chase and arrest in Coos Bay.   Burglary reported in North Bend.  In sports prep schedules for both NBHS & MHS.  Still time to signup for this year’s Prefontaine Run.  NBHS VB got a win Tuesday, SWOCC VB lost yesterday at home.  Duck VB loses.  OSU women have soccer at Houston.  I hope you have a good Thursday.     Thank you,  Matt
