This local news brief is brought to you by Southwest Oregon Regional Airport www.flyoth.com with air service from North Bend to San Francisco.

Good Tuesday morning.  Starting to feel like Thanksgiving weather on the South Coast.  Little rain, little wind.  Forecasters call for a few showers this morning then mostly cloudy in the afternoon.  Highs in the low to mid 50s and winds out of the Northwest at 10-20 mph.  Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 40s and winds out of the North to Northeast at 5-10 mph. Mostly sunny on Wednesday, but highs in the low to mid 50s.  In our news today, Coos Bay City Council and the URA meets tonight.  A lot of reports, but the URA takes a closer look at the Fourth St. Improvement Project.  We’ve got the latest report on the Flu in Oregon.  Finally, a public hearing in Salem tonight on Drug Prices.  You can listen in to the hearing and even participate.  Modern technology isn’t it something?   Oregon Parks Commission meets in historic Jacksonville.  Nehalem River designation on their agenda.  DEQ issues fines statewide, one taps a Myrtle Pt. contractor.  FBI has an all points bulletin out for a female bank robber in Eugene.  Fatal on Hwy. 221 claims the life of a female juvenile.  Police logs have menacing, counterfeit money, warrant arrests, trespassing and DUII.  In sports, prep schedules for both MHS & NBHS.  SWOCC cross country runners end season at the NWAC and a former Bay Area runner leads her team to the NWAC championship.  Have a great Tuesday and thank you for reading.  Feel free to forward to others you feel might like receiving some morning local news.  Matt
