Good Monday morning.  Hopefully you had a full and fun Thanksgiving Holiday.  Long weekend, lots of Holiday events for both Thanksgiving and kicking off Christmas.  More to come.  Got to love the Holiday Bazaars!  Weather is improved today.  Warmer, highs in the upper 50s and sunshine.  Winds light and variable today and tonight.  Overnight low near 40, okay, might slip into the upper 30s.  Some clouds and sun on Tuesday.  Some shaking around Cape Blanco according to our earthquake specialists.  If you are traveling to Hwy. 58, note a closure there early Tuesday morning.  Coos Co. Fairboard needs volunteers to serve.  Contact the Board of Commissioners, or the county’s website for more information.  Traffic safety grants to a Central Coast police department.  Fatal out on I-84.  Police logs show criminal trespass, disorderly, warrant arrest, probation violator and a couple of DUIIs.  In sports, prep schedules for this week.  We are headed into Winter Sports.  Marshfield has its Meet the Pirates Night tonight, North Bend has Meet the Bulldogs Tuesday night.  Prep football season wrapped up for five classifications Saturday around the state. First prep basketball and wrestling polls have been released.  SWOCC basketball on the road this past weekend.  Civil War action for the Ducks and Beavers went Oregon’s way in football and volleyball.  Pac-12 basketball for the men and women and a lot of preseason success.  Except, the Duck women suffer their first loss.  NFL Monday Night Football has Seattle hosting Minnesota tonight on the tube.  Looks like a good start to the first full week of December.  Have a good Monday and thank you for reading.      Matt
