Good Monday morning.  Nine days left until Christmas.  Shore Acres still lit up with Holiday lights.  Clouds in the forecast with highs and lows about the same, low 50s and upper 30s. Winds light and variable, but no rain!  Hope you had a great weekend.  Lots of holiday shoppers.  Wow!  Makes it interesting.  In our news today, a couple of infrastructure projects in Coos Bay could impact some motorists.  Razor clamming shutdown for the entire Coast. Domoic acid problems again.   Norovirus on the Central Coast has hit several public schools.  We have the latest on the Flu in Oregon.  Tree clearing on Hwy. 20 today.  Port of Coos Bay Commission has an executive session today.  Tillamook Bay Clam Advisory has an opening on the North Coast.  SWOCC’s Dr. Patty Scott honored by the NWAC.  Coos Co. Airport Commission meets Thursday morning at the Airport.  Injured fisherman medevaced on North Coast.  House fire Central Coast.  Tis the season on the police logs.  Along with warrant arrests, package thefts off porches, mail theft out of boxes, and stealing stuff out of vehicles.   In sports, prep schedules for today for MHS & NBHS.  Marshfield basketball suffers a couple of road losses.  Crater wins Coast Classic Wrestling at NBHS.  North Bend girls win their own swim meet.  SWOCC basketball finds some success on the road over the weekend.  Duck men get big basketball win at Michigan.  OSU and UO women are rolling along.  And, Seattle gets another NFL road win.  Looks like a good week ahead.  Marshfield has a basketball tournament Thursday through Saturday with 16-teams participating.  They’ll bring their fans and more to the Bay Area prior to the Holidays.  Make them feel welcome!   Have a great Monday and thank you for reading.    Matt
