Good Monday morning. Rain today, highs in the 40s and overnight lows in the 30s. Winds out of the Southwest at 15-25 mph. Clouds and more rain on Tuesday. Tragic weekend for children in Oregon. A father and his two children got to close to the Pacific Ocean on the North Coast and were swept out to sea. I’ll never say a “man” in this type of story, but a Douglas Co. male has been charged with the murder of a one-year old girl. Just not a good weekend with those two stories hanging over us. North Bend City Council has a work session today. Coos Co. Airport Commission is moving the date of their January meeting. Lots of snow in the Cascades, and yes, some road closures.
