Good Tuesday morning! Okay, got it right today. Couldn’t believe I called Monday a Wednesday. Subconscious something! However, I really did appreciate all of the emails I received pointing out my mistake. Really, some of the comments were pretty funny. I like that! Thanks for having my back with a smile. Not as heavy with the news today as compared to yesterday. Well, we had a whole weekend to cover. Rain and wind continue today. Highs in the low 50s and lows in the upper 40s. Winds out of the South to Southwest, 20-30 mph, gusty at times, settling down somewhat tonight. Library bond discussion before the Coos Bay City Council tonight. Swearing in a new Police Officer one of the items on the North Bend City Council session tonight. Medicare topic at Brookings SWOCC campus tonight. BACC has a recap of their annual awards banquet from Saturday night. SWOCC looking for some Distinguished Alumni nominations. Recap provided on last year’s Holiday Lights Show at Shore Acres. The state is encouraging tax filings to take advantage of an Earned Credit. Male body found alongside Hwy. 101 south of Bandon. On the police logs, burglaries, warrant arrests, theft arrests, shoplifter & menacing in Coquille. In sports, prep schedules for today for both MHS & NBHS. All of the basketball teams out of town tonight. Hang on to the hats and umbrellas today, or just make that quick dash, looks wet & windy for a Tuesday! Thank you for reading. Matt
